Last but not least, a great book because it shows that even photographers considered masters take lots and lots of insignificant and dull shots. It makes them appear less like gods and more like yourself (with all due respect for Daido, who's indeed one of my photography idols)
In my opinion the biggest loss to photography (and those that study, participate and enjoy it) since the rise of digital is the contact sheet.
It strips away any myth and bullsh*t on the part of either the photographer or the viewer. It was probably the most invaluable thing I ever studied in college and when I first started working.
