The meta data on my M8 does not show the aperature uded to take the photograph. All the other meta data shows up as it should (including maximum aperature).
I have all 6 bit coded lenses and the most recent firmware.
Any advice how to fix this?

This is correct. As there is no aperture coupling between the lens and the camera, there is no data input. The camera does guesstimate the actual aperture with help of the blue dot, for instance to preset the flash electronics, but it is deemed too inaccurate to include in EXIF. The estimated aperture is actually included in the recorded metadata, but you need an exifreading program to see it.
