BTW, i think we should credit Alex Glasgow for popularising the "alternative" words to The Red Flag in the intro to his song As Soon As This Pub Closes (The Revolution Starts). The Red Flag would be a lot better to the original tune of The White Cockade. Try it, it's a vast improvement on that maudlin Wagnerian dirge. What do you mean, you don't know The White Cockade?
