Looking at that list, there seems to be a lot of items that are in need of parts/repair, or are parts only.. and at that price (AUD$22,250) I'd expect high-res photos of each item.

Ad says 30 are fully functional and 6 are for parts only. Then he lists each camera and a brief description. Some have lenses. Some uncommon cameras in the list also. Works out to $625 a camera which doesn't sound too outlandish. I'm too lazy (and evidently so is the seller) to individually price each one.

Most of the cameras are iiia, b or f. Those are $300 cameras.

Those types of "dream sale" lots are a fools errand. The seller calculates the top dollar of each and every item, and makes that the price. He assumes that all the work of selling individually each item, over time, paying fees, taking better pictures, not flooding the market, and hoping each hits the high average prices, can be eliminated by merely getting some rich sucker to take them all at once. It's an idiotic move that NEVER works. When I buy a lot of ANY collectible, it better be for half the going rate. Or I'm not ponying up thousands of dollars and assuming all the risk for some lazy seller.

Selling a collection that took many years to accrue, takes many years to liquidate. You can't just magically take them to the "internet bank" and cash in. Sorry, no dice.
