So, I needed a photo to fill a spot on the wall above a large sectional. I found a picture of a vintage motorbike i took using an m11and the voigtlander 50 apo lanthar.
I needed it to be wide so I formatted it to xpan ratio.
Here is the kicker. It's 84 inches wide, and does not show any grain, noise or anything that makes it looked enlarged. It rendered beautifully and I only paid 50.00 to print it at the local ups store. I paid 40.00 for oak 1x2 which I used to create the frame and 100.00 for a large peice of 3/16 plexiglass.
Prints don't need to be expensive.

a local ups store will print on decent paper? Was it faithful with your digital rendering?

It looks great. We don’t have UPS stores in Australia, but I might try it at OfficeWorks.

How do they print? Presumably not inkjet at that price...
