Last Weekend at the Beach

Here are a few scans from three rolls of film I took last weekend at our beaches. It is also a test for local Walgreen scans. I asked the young woman which level resolution the scans would be, and she was very confused and annoyed at mky question ... "resolution what?". I should have left Walgreens.

It is also a test for my newly acquited Fuji Natura P&S camera with the 24mm/1.9 lens. I am happy with the results. The rest of the photos were taken with a Zorki-4 and a Canon 35mm/1.8 lens or a Leitz Summicron 90mm/2 lens.

Brian: I will have to talk with her about it ... in eighteen years or so.

I will scan some of the better negatives with my Nikon Coolscan III to get higher resolution without excessive sharpening.

I will in the coming days carefully examine each roll of film and I will tell you what I think of the Natura in particular.
