After having lived for years on end in the tropics, this season is always hard to bear. Photos taken with the RD-1 and the wonderful Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f.1.1.

depressing grayness

a trip, longer the better, e.g. to Hawaii would be nice this time of year :rolleyes:

I was out today at midday trying to take some photos. I had to use 1/60s, f:4 for ASA 400 film. You might get the idea how depressingly dark it can be this time of year. If I had the chance I'd move my a*s to Bangkok for a couple of months.
 
This said, last year we tried the same thing and got stuck for four days in Moldova and then in Frankfurt because of bad weather....wish us luck!
 
Peter, I'm interested in visiting Moldova (Chisinau) one day. It is one of the last remaining corners of Europe I've not yet seen. What is the best way to get there? By train from Bucharest or take a flight from where? Kiev perhaps?
