Our daughter ex's mother went to funeral during Covid. And got one.
Don't know how Indian wedding is done where you are, but where I'm it is several hundreds of people. We have region with highest population from India in NA. Right now it is one of the highest covid areas in Ontario. Not aware about crowded weddings at this moment, but many in this region are working in crowded warehouses.

Our son is getting married in March...there will only be five attending...the bride and groom, his mom & dad and her mom...
They will do a reception later next year when they can safely have a bigger gathering...
He's military and on a very tight training schedule...can't afford to lose time getting sick...
They are moving to South Carolina, the wedding will be in Georgia...
Our daughter has plans to get married in August of this year in Colorado...outdoor venue in the mountains...hopefully, that's still on...

I hope so, the situation here in italy is not easy, some little thing is coming back but it will take time to restore to the old numbers. Then again people hardly travels and if they do it's a small group thing.
