Out flea marketing today and came across a Swarovski tripod for $10. This pod was made by Manfrotto and is the same as the 3221/055 tripod and 3130/128RC head.

Gonna sell the head and keep the pod..

Holy moses. I've got the Manfrotto version, except with a ball head. That's a hell of a tripod for ten dollars.

Interesting find. I still tend to prefer Velbon square aluminum for 35mm and some MF use. I have a Mamiya for heavy MF and LF. That does look like a good tripod for sure. You must be tripod poor if you want to give up the head. 😀

I had to do a bit of google searching to find out exactly what I had..

I want to sell and get a Manfrotto 3 way pan tilt instead..

A friend bought a Nikon FG with 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor and 75-150mm E-series lens for $55 at of all places a antique mall.

Wish I had found it mainly for the 50....
