leathercover for r-d1

Hello! Does anyone know any suitable leathercovers for the R-D1? Are there any for the Bessas? And if are they ok for R-D1 or are the Bessas smaller?

Are you asking about a half-case or new body covering? The R-D1 is quite a bit larger than the Bessas. Luigi (click on Leicatime) has halfcases for both. CameraQuest may have Zhou cases as well. CameraLeather has new covering material for the Bessas but has not put a kit together for the R-D1.

Maybe Aki Asahi has a leather covering for the R-D1, though I doubt it.

I'd check with Camera Leather. Morgan helped me out a while ago with a custom cover for a small Voigtlander RF I have. He custom cut the leather and mounted it for me too. If my RD-1 ever needs recovering I'll certainly check with him first. Good luck.
