Can anyone suggest where I can get my Leica CM repaired? the battery door jams up and seems to be stripped. Anywhere in NYC would be great, I'd love to be able to run some film through it.

Leica might be able to repair that. They won't touch the "working bits" but maybe they can help with this. New Jersey.

Try Nippon Camera repair. Leica will not touch this camera anymore and will just try to sell you a Digilux.
