I got 'Like A One-Eyed Cat' back when it was published. I like think that it is good retrospective.

I have "Like a One-Eyed Cat", "Self-Portrait", "Photographs", "Lee Friedlander" (more self-portraits, Fraenkel Gallery 2000) and "The Little Screens". They're all excellent, but my favorites are "Like a One-Eyed Cat" and "Photographs".

I foolishly passed up "American Monument" while it was still in print (at least as late as 2002 it was still available from the publisher and via Barnes & Noble), thinking that $500 was a bit much for me to pay for a photo book. <sigh>
