If any RF members are in Brighton this weekend well worth a visit to a Brighton Festival Fringe event - a Lee Miller Print Sale and Exhibition, lots of images not seen before. Just great to see wonderful prints and the printer - Carol is there too!

David Sherman's somewhat "staged" photo of Lee Miller taking a bath in Hitler's bathtub on April 30th 1945, the day that he and Eva Braun committed suicide.


Lee Miller's life story is very interesting, they should have made a movie about her/based on her a long time ago.....

Well, Tony have a good time at the Exhibition, I wish I could see more photos she did at the Berghof as it was burning she was very daring taking those pictures, she'd only arrived at the Obersalzberg a few hours after a Waffen SS unit set fire to the remains of the house as they were being routed out by a French tank company, the area wasn't at all secure.
