Oh yes! I always said I'd upgrade to a coming X-E2 with focus peaking when it comes out, but again Fuji surprised me by listening to their customers and implementing this in the original models!
They could have just changed the camera and a lot of people would have made the change (see X100s). But no, they did it right!
Even now the X-E1 is very easy to use with legacy lenses. I use my LTM and M mount lenses without any problem. Even the 90 Elmar-C (135mm equiv.) behaves great although with 10x magnification it's too shaky to focus - 3x works OK.
Love this camera as it does everything I want..... and it'll get even better next month.
