Leica 12585 Hood--28mm?

Wasn't sure how to phrase the subject line 😕 I have the Leica 12585 for my v3 50 cron.

Is the Leica 12585 hood too narrow for 28mm? I just realized this hood fits perfectly on my CV 28/3.5. Like it was made for it. But I'm wondering it cause vignetting. Anyone ever use this combo?

I guess I will know soon enough after I finish testing a roll in my new to me Hexar RF--and newly sealed CLE.

Snap the hood on, take the lens off the camera, and look through the back. Can you see the hood? If so, it might be too tight. With the camera, take the back off and look through the back. Does the hood cut off anything?

I'm pretty sure the 50 hood is just barely OK with 35mm, but I doubt it will work for 28. However, the similar 35mm hood might work on the 28....
