So I just picked up this perfect looking Orion 15 28mm f6 lens. $150 from Poland via ebay. I was going to use it on my Bessa L, butt thought, why not test it fo s-ts and giggles on my M240 just to see what it can do?
First off, I thought for some reason these were non rf coupled and would need to be zone focused. Not sure where I read that. But this thing has an rf cam, and focuses perfectly with my M240 and M7!
Secondly, fits perfectly and the focus is smooth. Actually smoother feeling than my 7A 50 1.1 lens.
Looking at the results, I think this lens is better than the equivalent Leica 28mm 5.6 Summaron. In Lightroom applying the profile for the Voigtlander LTM 28 3.5 snaps it into action. I'll be very curious to see how this performs on film where one tends not to make profile corrections.
Anyway first pic wide open (!) at f6 with no profile corrections:

CV 28mm 3.5 profile applied in LR:

Huge difference.
