Leica was the camera king in the 1950's,
more so than any other time in their history.

Wow, I want any one of them. I'm thinking the IIf is the best deal for long term use. I have the IIIf and it is becoming a pain.

John, the IIf is the IIIf minus the slow speeds. I have lots of Ms but I'm really enjoying the little IIIf.

It would be interesting to compare these to German brochures. Do they use the same images and advertising angles?

I must say that it seems unbelievable that Leica was advertising a IIIg in 1957 three years after the M3 came out.
