Leica 28-35-50 Tri-Elmar on RD1s

I don't have this lens, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. You just need the proper finder/s.

Why would you need finders? I thought the RD1 support 28-35-50 framelines? Or am I misunderstanding how the frame lines work?

TIA

The Tri-Elmar works fine on the R-D1 and the R-D1 framelines match perfectly. I have one and have used it extensively. There are plenty of Tri-Elmar/R-D1 shots in my gallery. As it happens I am selling mine - as I noted in an earlier post today - because I am simplifying my life and will be shooting with a 35mm on the R-D1 for 90% of the time.

Hi Gid, any idea what you might be asking for the Tri-Elmar? I've been thinking of getting one. - Thanks.

R-D1 works beautifully with the Tri-Elmar. Its a wonderful street lens with the framelines matching up just fine....
