Not good. If it's under warranty you should send it to your country's Leica distributor for an inspection. If not, select an independent repair shop from one of the many threads on the topic here. Some independents do not service the ASPH lenses so you may have to send it to Solms.
I've had this experience with a 50mm Summicron (11817) and with a 35mm Summilux ASPH. I sent the 50mm to Sherry Krauter, and the 35 to Don Goldberg. Not a big deal to fix.
I probably should have sent it to one of them instead of to Leica in New Jersey. I sent it overnight Wednesday; they put it in the warehouse overnight, logged it in on Friday, and were supposed to contact me today.
My plan in sending it overnight was that I'd have it back in two days. HA!
