(j/k) 😱

Leica only seems to do chrome for special editions now. Officially, chrome was discontinued for all lenses from Leica, bit then they made a 50mm/1.4 ASPH in chrome after that announcement!

If you want Silver, buy Zeiss! Almost all the ZM lenses are available in Silver, including the 28mm/2.8 Biogon.

i would also like to see chrome lens in old style contour, like the LHSA 35 summicron asph and 50 summilux asph, and if they can do one 28 in first version's body, that will be perfect, i like those curves, modern lens are like oil barrels in comparison, and not cheap plastic hood...

I like the old-style shape & the chrome finish on the lenses, but prefer the modern hoods (I find the old Leitz "basket"-style clip-on hoods ugly & cumbersome). So while I recently picked up the LHSA Hammertone version of the 35 'cron, which is simply a retro-styled chrome lens w/a hammertone hood, I use it w/the modern 12526 hood.
