I do the exercising when walking around.
It is very likely a 2005 model according to the serial and does appear in pristine cosmetic condition as far, as I can inspect the outer appearance (no marks, scratches, dings or even the horrendous crashed glass from the 35 mm).
I will keep exercising and hope, it settles. As it is now, it really is a challenge for focussing precisely. It has the same stickiness with a higher dampened feel than my Nikon 50 1.4 AF-S G lens had, which made it unpleasant to use manually.
