I had this lens on the camera today and saw some opportunities to test the performance in the middle of a hot, bright day in Atlanta.
Some of the shots were of shaded areas others in the bright noon daylight and others inside a restaurant. I think it really shines...
The images are compressed a bit. DNG files exported to jpg with LR5

Thanks, I'm liking this lens a lot. Although the 35mm is not an ideal FL, it does a great job a lot of the time.
