Leica 50/1.4 summilux Asph.

This lens just keeps on giving, absolutely love it!

the continuing popularity of this thread says something about the 50mm Lux f1.4 itself

this is clearly the best lens I have ever used

1. Focus throw is short. For me much faster focusing and more accurate
2. Focus tension is silky but stiff. Again, much more accurate for me
3. Super sharp. I can't beleive some people complain about this. You can reduce sharpness and detail in PP but not make it.
4. Lovely neutral colours
5. Sharp corners
6. Sharp at f1.4
7. Built in hood

Critisisms ? not much. would prefer a few mm shorter but not a big thing.
Would also love the MTA curves of the 50mm APO 😉
