I used my 50mm Summilux asph at our friend´s wedding. I was the photographer for them...

I LOVE this lens. It is my only Leica lens now after several L-lenses...

First time posting in this thread and something different. Focus point was on the head but I find it very difficult to focus..I guess my eyes are not as good as they used to be 🙁
By the way, the images in this thread are amazing 🙂

The blur background is really awesome, a dreamming shot !
 
I posted in the wrong forum without knowing ;-) (sat the whole night over a Hektor 73 1.9 and posted in delirium from cleaning agent fumes).
That is a great drug, I admit - the Hektor, not the fumes!

Hey Dirk, your first shot with the 50/1 is amazing! The expression, the wrinkles, the smile, the thick black glasses, the missing teeth, the background.......I LOVE IT. You must have a charming way to connect to the Chinese people there 🙂

Got lucky with the XPan yet?

I found, I posted all non 50 Lux ASPH shots in the 50 Lux ASPH thread 😛
I moved the post.

I love the people around here and try hard, to make them understand my real intentions, loosing wrong reservations or fear (difficult, without understanding each others language, but a wonderful challenge).

It looks, like the XPan is dead for me. The asking prices are entirely silly (you get some fantastic Leitz glass for the equal of a basic XPan setup with 45/4 - this is insane).

The day, these cameras will sell for sane prices, or when a nice deal shows up, I might try one.
