I received a 50dual range lens, the M mount flange was bent bad. It will not fit on the camera, the seller says he can just replace the DR base from another lens. I know these are matched, will the lens work ok or will it not focus properly? If you know please let me know.

It needs to be shimmed properly, but Yes the bases should be interchangeable. The optics head unscrews. The DR Summicrons had very tight tolerance for focal length. That means after you get it shimmed, it should be quite accurate across the focus range.

This trick will not work as well in later Summicrons, where the RF Cam had a slight arch to it to correct for deviations in the focal length.

The numbers on the head and barrel are a matched set, but are interchangeable with others. Personally, I would have the mount repaired rather than have an unmatched pair - but that's just me.

Sorry I don's know what you mean by shimmes, the two pieces just screw togeather. I know the numbers will not match but was worried the focus would not work. Youxin says it will have to be recalibrated, I thought I could just put the two peices togeather & go shoot pics.

You "Might be able to", but I have always had to racalibrate the lenses. The Shim controls how far the optics module stands off in the focus mount. It is a thin piece of (usually) metal.
