It is well worth reading the article "Candid Camera" at page 164 in the September 24, 2007 edition of the New Yorker Magazine. It's a well written discussion of the history, the mystique and myth of the Leica. Dave

It is still available online as of this evening (Oct. 7, 2007), but the New Yorker only keeps them up for a few weeks -- and this one is getting old.
