Leica CL how to tighten/snug up shell

Hi All,


I've got a CL that when I put the back shell on the body (e.g. when loading a new roll of film), it is not very tight - it can wiggle so much that the film counter will get reset mid-roll. I've tried taking off the two little metal feet that the shell rotates into and rearranging them to try to get a tighter fit, but that hasn't helped. The shell is not warped and everything looks in great condition.



Any ideas on how I can tighten this connection up?

This is strange, mine is also slightly loose but not as much as yours. Maybe see if you can adjust the snap that holds the bottom on.

How to “adjust” it though... I took apart the lock assembly on the base that rotates, but there isn’t anything to adjust or change.

I don't know that camera but are there seals that need replacing?
