It seems that when Leica drifts into other than their core products (the M line of RF's both film and digital) they would be better off just to buy from Panasonic, slap one of their lenses and a red dot on it, and save their valuable reputation.

I really loved the CM's lens, but hated the teensy viewfinder. Two cameras that would have otherwise been phenomenal/'perfect': CM and Contax G2.

As-an-aside #1 - I always assumed Nermal was a girl...

As-an-aside #2 - The Spotmatic SP II is simply a stunning camera with unsurpassed mechanics. The shutter sound is nothing less than delicious.
