Today's event at Dale Labs in Hollywood, FL was quite a treat. A small group of us were allowed to play with the entire new line of Summarit lenses on a whole bunch of M8 bodies. Justin and Roland from Leica were there to explain everything and as a bonus, those of us who brought their M8's got upgraded to the latest firmware 1.110! We got to meet some our fellow Leicaphiles and we had a splendid time.
Many thanks to David, Dale, Justin & Roland for a very excellent event!

I've been to Dale Labs and there wasn't a roll of Tri-X within 5 miles of the place.
It's a tight little store front and the store location is really tucked away in a back parking lot. It sounds like you enjoyed yourself.
By the way, I found some Tri-X in a camera shop up in Del Ray later that day.

Did you take any outdoor shots? I could only see pictures linked to people sitting around a table...

That is what it was. A small group of people sitting around a table talking shop and fondling the goods. We weren't allowed to shoot photos with our cameras as the lenses were pre-production and uncoded. However I did get the latest firmware (1.110) which shows a great improvement in high ISO noise management.
Here is a link to my Test Shots album so you can see some highly un-scientific tests.

All shots taken with my CV 75mm Color-Heliar, no filter, RAW, developed in Bibble Pro with only WB adjust (no sharpening or noise reduction).
As for an outdoor shot I present this:

Thanks Etrigan for posting some high iso photos. They look pretty good to me. I bet you wouldn't see much of the color noise in a good sized print.

What a bummer!!! I was there at 11AM and was talking to David for probably an hour and had my M8 in my hand and he never said a word about new firmware or upgrading

M8 owners are a particularly good looking bunch of people don't you think?

Sorry I missed you Ben. Justin from Leica NJ was installing the firmware on cameras, not handing out copies. I'm surpised Roland (the Leica guy with a German accent - would that make him a "classic Leica rep"?) didn't offer to install it for you.

No big deal. I got my M8 with 1.102 when 1.107 was already out and didn't upgrade for quite a while, in fact not until Jaap had upgraded his and gave the all-clear. I'll probably do the same with this new firmware. I'm basically a chicken when it comes to these things
