Leica Digilux 2 (or Pansonic DMC LC-1) battery any suggestions?

OK, so I know it is not a new camera but the battery is finally fading away after years of faithful service.

I assume the battery is the same as that in Panasonic DMC LC-1?

I've searched the net and cannot find a replacement. Any suggestions (preferably in the UK/EU)? Although listed here and there it is out of stock.

Alternatively does anyone know of someone who re-packs or re cells batteries? The old Leica battery is BP-OCI-E 7.2V 1400 mAh
