Leica Elmar 50mm 2.8 (current version) and Leica Summicron 50mm 2.0 coll.

Marko, the Summar is a collapsing lens. Mount it on your Bessa in extended mode, open the camera back, set the shutter to B and hold/lock it down. Watch through the camera back as you slowly collapse the lens to see if it hits any parts of the camera. If it does (and I think it will) you can put a spacer like a plastic washer over the lens's barrel to prevent it from collapsing all the way and hitting interior parts of the camera's shutter box.

Thank you for the hint, Frank. I think i will use the lens only in extended mode. A spacer is to "hot" for me and my Bessa 🙂 For collapsed mode i can use my Elmar that will work without any problems on and in my Bessa!

Hey Frank. The Elmar will hit the shutterblades if you have the focusrange over 0,7 meter at collapsing! If i will collaps the Elmar i adjust the focusring to 0,7m before i collaps it. I think the Summar will make no difference to this.

Wow, so many answers 😀 Okay, the early lux sounds interesting. But i think its also very expensive? Summitar and Summar i have found at ebay (germany) for also 300 and more Euro. What are "good" prices for this three lenses? 😕
Stay on yaBe for some time and you'll see much nicer deals popping up. Also, check the finished transactions to find out which were the closing prices. Then also check the price guides (this one's for screw mount, but there's a link to M-mount prices too). And be patient, if you don't win this one, you might win the next one.

I just bought a Summitar with a Leica iiic lens cap for €190 😀 (a previous Summitar closed at €212 without camera)

Peter.
