Maybe the reason is it’s actually a new lens being sold (under MSP) within Leica guidelines for a franchised dealer. Notice the "in-store" warranty matches the duration of Leica's warranty.

I get what you are saying, but it says used... I'm just saying that I'm looking for a better deal used than that (like 75%-80% of new price like most used things sell for) and if $130 is the only difference, I'd buy new.

Take a look at the 28/2.8 Hexanon Ml. It may fit the bill as well.

I bought three. It would have been from PNET or eboy from recognizable seller. You'll have to employee some patience tho. Each was in state of brand newness.

I had intended to replace my 35 Summicron. Never happened. Instead I replaced the Summicron with a Summilux.
