Hi,
does anyone have a service manual for the model II or III?
Specifically, I am trying to adjust the Z (B) setting on my III - it works about 1 out of 4 times, otherwise, I get 1/20 sec.
ISTR that this is to do with the setting of the spring plates on the base of the camera, BICBW.
Any help most welcome.

Hi John,
Have a look at Kim Coxon's site. There you can find some excellent information that could be helpful for you.

Jose

Jose,
Thanks, but I know those files - I gave them to Kim. They are mostly IIIf and later bodies. maybe I can work it out from there anyway?

Looks like I was right - there is a spring on the pawl that catches the 2nd curtain latch under the speed dial, the strength of this has to be balanced against the upward pressure from the flat leaf spring at the bottom of the body.
Get this right and, hey presto, working B setting again!
Now to load some Tri-X and shoot
