leica IIIa rewind knob a little stiff

My Leica IIIa has arrived and I am genuinely pleased with it, however, mthe rewind knob is a little stiff, not stuck stiff, are there any remedies for this, would you recommend lubricating certain parts. Any suggestions greatfully accepted

I took a chance a little very light lube ajd the stiffness has gone🙂

Well the true test is in the using, so I will be out and about this weekend shooting a roll through to see if all is well with the Leica IIIa

Just a quick update all is fine with the rewind, smooth as butter

Cool, a little lubricant in the right place will help a lot.

I had a IIIc with a rewind knob that couldn't be extended to rewind, until I got the camera serviced.
