I didn't see much difference between the two. Frankly, most of the comparison photos in the video were pretty bad. I think the Leitz Phone has a 19mm-equivalent main camera so maybe the iPhone photos were using the Ultrawide camera in comparison. I generally dislike ultra wide angle perspectives (anything wider than about 20mm equiv.) so maybe that's why I had such a negative reaction to these photos.
 
It seems a perfectly decent camera app. However, the "free" mode doesn't allow many options, and I'm unwilling to spend $6 per month to get the rest of the features, given that the Moment camera costs nothing, offers most of the same features, and offers a one-time in-app purchase (~$8) for time lapse and slow shutter add-ons.

The biggest thing I see Leica LUX offering is aperture simulation so you can thin the DoF easily. Is this what constitutes the "Leica look", shallow DoF? Hmm.
