Leica have survived the digital onslaught because they stuck to their own heritage design and crudely (being realistic here) adapted it to a digital output which is what the M8 is in all honesty ... a hurried cobbled up DRF that had plenty of problems but it proved they were prepared to have a go and people respected them for it.

It saved their hides and the rest is history. 😀
