Leica LTM to Contax SLR

...been searching for an adapter...trying to get a screw mount 50mm onto a Contax Aria...can do?...

Novoflex used to have adapters, intended for their LTM threaded macro bellows and macro lenses. Any RF to SLR lens adapter will only be good for macro photography, from about 150mm down, as SLRs add about 2cm of flange distance for the mirror box...

On average, the greater flange to film distance plus the thickness of the adapter will be the equivalent of adding a 25mm extension tube between the lens and the original body. With a 50mm lens you'll find that at the furthest focusing distance you will be getting around 1/2 life size magnification (e.g. a 2" x 3" subject area with 35mm full frame).
