Leica M eyeglass protector

Tired of scratched eyeglasses lenses after using Leica M2,3,etc.? May I suggest the following: take a "top hat" rubber washer from an ordinary faucet and cut to fit. It works perfectly. Two minute job even for a klutz like me.

BTW, the beauty of this approach is that one can use washers that are no longer fit for plumbing! [Recycle.]
