I am a digital Nikon user, D1/2 user coming back to film. Anybody use this grip adapter? It looks like the portrait/right side as my Nikons are. Anyone useing these, any problems? And how about RRS/Kirk plates for the M3?

I use GMP grip and RRS plate (not together of course, RRS plate for Arcatech head), both work well.
To mount my only lens with eyes, the 135/2.8, I have to take
the grip off.

Roland.

Hi Artorius -- I have and like the Leica M-grip. I'll see if I can find a shot of the M2 with that attached...

Like Peter mentioned, I have the Rapidgrip. It is a good solid grip which only covers the right side of the baseplate. I know folks use the prior model of the Photo Equip grip. The new one which covers the entire base plate and offers a centered tripod socket looks like a good choice for you. I would be concerned a little with the added bulk size wise, but I am sure it is made of a light weight material so weight won't be a problem.

Hi,

does someone know, if I can attach the Leica M grip to a russian RF like the Fed or Zorki, as they are copys..?

Art- I use the M grip on my M7's and the M6, but find it is a little too small for my hands. An improvement over no grip for these hands, but I'm thinking I'm going to go for Tom's grips once I can.

Just took the grip off my .58 to try it plain for a little again, but think I need it- arthritis in the hand makes holding a camera w/o grip a pain. What I'd love to see is a grip that would give some extra size to the front and back of the camera- more like the G2 has with those rubber bumpers.
