That's why I was asking; this is the first photo I've seen that seems to properly depict the levant black. I just have a feeling it's a bit softer to the touch than what I'm looking for.

Is the CAMERA LEATHER company located in Vermont the same as the one that was or is in the U.K.? Or am I confused and they have always been in Vermont.?

AFAIK Cameraleather has always been in VT.

Jamie - I would not describe the feel of the Levant Black "soft" - it is "grippy", especially compared to the slippery plastic feel of the original covering on my M6. The black kidskin has a smoother feel, more like the M6.
