I found this sight where you can download manuals for some Leica M cameras, I downloaded the M3 in PDF format. He doesn't have all models so see if yours is there. It is always interesting to see "old" product information.
BTW someone was asking about the RF notches in the finder recently and the manual for the M3 has a great diagram and explanation of how to use them on page 9.
