Kick - assed portrait. Well done.

I've been without my 246 for about a month -- I sent it and my 50/1.4 Summilux in for calibration and to have the sensor and rangefinder etc checked out (things just didn't seem to be in focus at wider apertures). I can now say that if you are concerned about faster lenses not being sharp at wider apertures, it is definitely worth it to send both the body and lens in together to get them 'mated'. I've only taken a few photos in the backyard since I got the camera and lens back, but I can already see the difference:

My MM is in getting the sensor replaced. Big brown did deliver a new M 10 last week. I was thinking I wouldn't see it until the end of the year or early next year. I was on a couple of waiting lists. Murphy's Camera in Louisville (the same place I bought my MM 5 years ago this Oct was the first to get it in. Kevin Murphy is the person I have dealt with both times and they have both been wonderful experiences.

Fun seeing these images from you all, and welcome to the forum skyjuice. I want my MM to come home (with new sensor).

Haven't been shooting for some time, but put in some effort to get out shooting this past weekend. Didn't get much in the way of sunrise, but the 246 excels in soft light.
