I'm experimenting with square and the M246 Live View gridlines. I like that you can compose in square but you still get the entire image in raw.

Helen, love the photo and especially the caption. Words plus photos can transcend both.

Thank you, Helen. One more high key below.
I'm experimenting a lot with new directions instigated by the lockdown. I like the camera and workflow very much and feel it will work well for whatever interests me. Hope you're finding it suits you as well.

I love that Porsche avatar Helen, one of my favourite photos of yours. There's emotion in that black. I have it downloaded to my phone to marvel at occasionally.

Love the perspective, light, and tones in this one. And it really makes me miss the trains and urban life.

That looks good, Helen. Between the pandemic and the cold, it's been hard for me to get a real sense of this camera and lenses for it. Just not shooting enough and have been forced into different subject matter. So I'm holding any decisions until spring, when I hope to be able to shoot like I normally do.
Tomorrow Illinois opens vaccinations to the next group - 65 and older. I expect it will be a challenge to get an appointment.
In the meantime, another from around the house with the Planar:

Great John, Love it !
Like 3 little pigs, 4 little pears... Sweet as in pear , sweet as in Lovely rendering ~
Can never understand when some people view the 'Planar' as sterile
It almost has a sonnar/lux/nokton quality wide open

Helen, those beautiful M246 photos you're posting—well everything you post—and yet you are selling Miss 246? I recently purchased a M246; wish I had waited, having yours might improve my photography, perhaps it carries some special energy imbued by your use.

Wow Robert, that was quite lovely of You, Thank You !
Post some photos with 246 so i can look at your way of ''seeing'
I am sure You are under estimating your talents...
I find the 246 quite easy to use, a Brilliant camera really ~
Why do i think of selling... that stupid dribble in my head of still preferring film 'sometimes' over digi. I know, a stupid self defeat mechanism me thinks
I have not been in my right mind for awhile !
