Stewart, that Jupiter of yours is working out just fine! Just love the shot in the bar...
Thanks Jeff! I think that's my favourite one I've taken so far. Must get out and take some more.

Nice photos! Lovely tones.
You're a bit cheeky posing that lovely lady beside what looks like a bag of garbage!
Were those taken in Australia, or are you travelling, Kristian? The first one, especially, is exceptional.
No I'm in Bangkok and its sooooo wet. Today got drenched with Michael Bialecki. Here's a look at our wet day. The Monochrom handled it like a champ!

These are starting to look really good - a possible replacement for film?
The best one of the series here IMHO, keep up the good work 🙂
I like it also since it is not so harsh as most of the others: this one has nice greys. Seems that in many pics the MM is a bit to dark in dark spaces...
The man on bench is brilliant!
How do you like shooting in extreme contrasts, compared to the M9 sensor (bright, blowing sky + deep shadow detail)?
Is it a big step up or similar behaving, as the M9?
leicashot said:Thanks. Compared to the M9 the Monochrom is much smoother in it's tonal range that I need to add contrast. In this shot I put it through a Silver Efex Pro 2 filter to match how I like my black and white.
