Vince I have a 2880 and I get great results on Epson Exhibition Paper and I just use the premium glossy setting.

Got an email from my printer (Jeff) yesterday, and he tried just sending the files directly from his computer to the printer (without using the downloaded Ilford profile), and they came out perfect! So apparently with the Ilford profile in use, the printer was 'double profiling' and affecting the look of the final print. The Epson profile on its own seems to do just fine, as you suggested.

Funny thing is that the final prints even SMELL like darkroom prints - very interesting!

The policewoman (!) is indicating something like "pay attention to my instructions and step back as I told you, stupid". In a small Italian village on a Sicilian hill people in general don´t have as much respect for the police as she thinks would be appropriate. But in this special moment she has the power to direct the crowd on the street because Jesus Christ and his mother Mary will meet there in a few moments (in the form of two statues) as they did on every Easter Sunday for hundreds of years. And that´s only possible "if you idiot watch my orders"!

Wow - it's really hard to catch up with you guys in this thread ;-)

… just 4 shots, I posted in a separate thread about riding at night.
The week earlier, I shot this stuff on pushed TriX @3200 and didn't like the shots much, as it really is very dark.

This week, I took the M Mono, set it to ISO 6400, used my beloved UC-Hex wide open and just shot away - I love, how natural these files mesh in look and feel with pushed TriX!

The shot really has a 3D pop to it but I'm not shure if I like the overall processing.
Would you mind sharing a few details about the settings and what you used LRx, SFX ?
Have you used a filter on the lens?

Certainly!

t is being greeted with polar opinions at the moment, but I'm really celebrating the clarity I can achieve with the MM.
No filters.
It's processed in CS6, a basic Silver Efex Pro 2 'harsh' filter and increased contrast - not really much required.
The trick is... add a very high contrast layer for all reflective surfaces, like water, chrome, glass, etc. I use a refined selection mask. This layer must be set to Soft Light blend mode to achieve the contrast.

Michael,
thanks for getting back and sharing your workflow. That's already way too advanced for me😉 but very interesting result.
I do only basic shadow & highlight adjustments in LR4.2 on the MM files, turn off the "details" (sharpening, noise etc.) that's mainly it.
