Catoosa Oklahoma.
So how much of Rt 66 did you do?
Just west of St. Louis to Tulsa (where I am now for a shoot). I've done Rt 66 in New Mexico, Arizona and California in the past, but this is probably the largest stretch I've done in one shot.
A few more that I shot today....

Love the stretch in Oklahoma with the 8 ft wide lanes and La Bajada Hill in New Mexico between Santa Fe and Albuquerque.
In 1992 took a month and went from Chicago to Oatman Arizona.

Wonderful series, Vince. Love the Jesus King of the Road on the us highway insignia especially.

Thanks -- I'm still out here in Tulsa, so I may manage to squeeze out another shot or two.
The 'Jesus' photo was a bit of a challenge, as I was trying to figure out how to make it 'fit' with all the other elements (I have about three other versions of the scene). Maybe I should post the other versions to compare.

I realise you did this on purpose Klaus, but I have a friend who weirdly blinks very slowly. I get 1 in 5 successful shots of her lol!
Anyway, I don't often process my landscape captures. Not really my forte, but here's one from a while ago. Guesses where?

Beautiful depth due to the open aperture, 3D effect even on my crappy monitor at work.
Nice shot, thanks for sharing.

Great shot. I got to photograph some horses at the weekend, but there was a lot of fence in the way. I wish I could manage an image as lovely as that.

Michael, while my collarbone heals, that's my commuting hell. How I miss my bike!
Actually, I don't get a seat, and get half an hour of being crushed and joggled around on my way to work. It's horrible.

I do feel for you! Fortunately, it's not a daily occurrence for me!
