Leica M Monochrom: best pics

A few from Kol Nidre (first night of Yom Kippur) here in Tel-Aviv. Feel like I'm getting a grip on Lightroom - long time Aperture user.

All Leica MM, Noctilux 50mm f1.0, red filter, ISO 2500.

Very nice. Interesting to me using a red filter at night. I like your results. My favorite subject is the girl in her bike. Looking forward to more in this thread.

Monochrom is tugging at my pocket. :D

If I hadn't known who shot this and what camera was used, I would have guessed medium format (Hasselblad w/110/2 Planar) and T-Max 100.

The tones, smoothness of grain and apparent sharpness are stunning.

Kristian, what ISO rating and what lens?

Thanks for sharing this, Steve

ISO 800, 1/125 sec at f/1.2 on VC Nokton 35/1.2 lens...

Wow, I can't even believe that I am posting in this thread.....I do not have a Leica Monochrom, nor do I have or really ever used any digital Leica before.......But I was fortunate enough to hang out with Kristian the other day and got to play around with his Monochrom for a couple of shots....

All of these are from Bangkok....
