Leica M Monochrom: best pics

Dirk love the motion shot.... Good stuff.

Thanks Allen!

Cheers Allen.

Dirk, my guess is most likely they were neighbors on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

^^ The lines of the ceiling completes the wide angle shot, excellent set including the panning shot.

Dave, thanks! I really have fun with this thing ;-)

Here is a quick one from one of last nights with the 16 ƒ8 Hologon:

I just love the Mono - it not only opens the night, my preferred time of shooting for a long time, no it even allows, to shoot super slow glass in the deep night.
This is ISO 3200 (without noise reduction) @ 1/4sec.

One has to understand, that the Hologon easily looses two to three stops towards the edge, hence the grain. I like that look in night shots though - it kind of belongs there.

I am packing up for a short trip, you guys have a great weekend!

Thanks Allen!

Dirk - great shot with the hologon - I never knew there is such interesting lense.
Dave - love your series - you are so connected to your subject - I am saying it again :)
You all inspired me - Klaus/Icebear too- to get out more to shoot at night (and weekend days) with MM.
Been so busy lately - but need to get out at night which I used to love to shoot.

Thanks Allen!

Dirk, wow! shooting in the dead of the night at F/8? that photo is awesome.

Xiaubauu and Allen - nice work on the 35mm! *If* i did not get a 50, definitely your 35's and Jim's 75 would have persuaded me. :D

Thanks Dave. I do find this thread very inspiring because I really like the work of all that post here. Each photographer is very different and all have talent and vision.
