Please Sergeant: don't arrest me. The truth is that I once owned this M3-DS that was factory overhauled by Leica (brand new fresh "L" seal); lost it in a trade with an art dealer; but I got it back in a loan sharking deal as an interest payment.

Anyways that's how I ended up getting this camera for free. LOL.

Slightly off topic: what do I do with all my medium format cameras? Pretty hard to justify now that I own a Monochrom.

Unload them in the classifieds, all that stuff is just ballast that weighs down on you 😉.
Get rid of that stuff that you don't use. Shoot your pristine M3 DS with the rigid 'cron and the MM with your 28 and just enjoy taking pictures.
Besides all the gear you have lying around, you will pile up so many negatives and digital files to catalog, process, print and archive, you'll make Winogrand look like an amateur 😀.

I'd still have 5 Leicas even if I sell all my MF gear. Don't forget about those annoying Nikon SLR's. LOL. I only have 5 years of making negatives with no regard to printing, editing... No sense in stopping now: I'm not retired yet... Perhaps 4 more years until I leave New York.

Every concert I go to with the MM, I come back home and marvel at the results in low light.

I find that in combination with the Zeiss C Sonnar T* f/1.5 50mm ZM, the files are even more stunning. And yes, I'm partial to Silver Efex Pro for my live music photos. A few recent shots:
