Fabio, great session, #1,3,5 are my favorites.
This seems like a very small place and you had a chance to be pretty close.
It must have been an exciting event and shooting opportunity.
Thanks for sharing.

Michael,
thanks for sharing your Venice shots. Obviously light was extremely harsh that day. I personally would try to calm the contrast down a little, either with the general contrast slider or raising the blacks and shadows. Just my preference...

Thanks icebear. I may well revisit this one but, you're right, the light was harsh.

Agree and it's a shot worth working on.

That's the thing to know about Venice. Visit in January when the winter daylight has a warm glow all day, and your backgrounds have less other tourists in them. I learned this by mistake when a ski trip to the Dolomites ended in a missed flight due to new year's day traffic. A happy mistake, albeit expensive and difficult to explain to my employer at the time.

@airfrogusmc and icebear, thank you! The first one is my favourite too. It's a relatively small and incredible venue - the quality of the programming is stellar. Always a pleasure shooting there.

Love this shot, and it totally belongs in the "Shoot the shooter" W/NW thread!
